Porcelain, stainless steel and platinum: three matters, three stories, a perfect balance.
These little jewels are part of the LITTLE SANCTUARY mini-series. The notion of scale is lost: I wanted to capture an entire universe in an intimate world.
These sculptures are inspired by "The Creation of Adam" in the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo. God gives the spark of life to Adam by leaning towards him, ready to touch his finger with his index finger. It is from this point of non-contact that magic arises, just as the delicate balance of this piece is born, seemingly barely touching the ground.
Each piece is entirely thought and hande-made by Nadège MOUYSSINAT in her studio in Limoges, France. Porcelain is a living and subtle material, each creation is the fruit of the artist's gesture and goes through the process of fire, consequently, the materials are variable and each artwork is perfectly unique.
